COVID-19 Policy/Procedures Update – TEMPORARY CLOSURE
Best In Sight Eye Care Offices Temporarily Closed
As of March 23, 2020, at the request of Governor Eric Holcomb to limit travel to “essential travel” only, Best In Sight has temporarily closed our offices in Indianapolis and New Palestine to comply with the request. In case of an emergency, please call our office 317-782-4000 as our doctors are still on call. Please continue to monitor our website and social media channels for updates.
Routine Eye Health Exams
If you are scheduled for a routine eye examination appointment for the remainder of March, you should have received a text or phone call informing you that we will contact you to reschedule your appointment for a later date. At this time, that starting date is undetermined due to our current circumstances.
Emergency Eye Care Services
We will have a staff member answering calls, texts, and emails 8-5 during the week. If you have an eye emergency after hours, please follow the emergency instructions and one of our doctors is on call and will contact you.
Previously Purchased Glasses and/or Contact Lenses
We will be offering free shipping of glasses purchases if you would like. For those wanting to pick their glasses up at the office, you will be able to do so by calling to schedule a curbside pickup. Any adjustments to your glasses can be made once this situation is resolved. All previously purchased contact lenses are being mailed directly to you.
Need to order more contact lenses
We will be available to order contact lenses daily. You can place your order by calling our office, by text, by email, or order on our website. They will be shipped directly to you.
We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary closing will cause. We will continue to monitor information from the health authorities and reopen our offices as soon as possible.
We appreciate your understanding and patience through this difficult time. We pray for the safety and well-being of all. It is a privilege to be able to serve you!
